Kennebec Savings Bank will say goodbye to a good man in 2015. President Mark Johnston will retire and he assures customers and the community that the reins will be handed over to a good and capable replacement, current Executive Vice President, Andrew Silsby...

From a personal point of view, Mark is a top notch banker and great friend of the community. Whether it's spearheading the annual Rise 'n Shine 5K road race to benefit the Kennebec Valley YMCA or something that few know about, like going out into the parking lot on a stormy winter day and cleaning everyone's car off, Mark is a man who leads by example. His employees will tell you, on or off the clock, they have a lot of respect for their boss.

That said, on June 16th, 2015, his 62nd birthday, Mark will hand over the proverbial keys to the store and Andrew will begin his time as KSB's president. The (less than) two years will go by fast, Mark...too fast to thank you for all you've done.

NOTE (from Mac Dickson): When you step down, Mark, Make sure Andrew has the shirt sizes of everyone on the Moose Morning Show :-)
