Kim Kardashian Hipchecks Justin Bieber to Reclaim ‘Most Searched Person’ Crown

According to a recent report from the search engine Bing, Kim Kardashian has once again been named the "most searched person of the year," retaking her title back from the 2011 champ, Justin Bieber.

But first things first. People actually use Bing?

Anyway, Bieber secured the No. 2 spot behind the big-bootied Kardashian (who was also first in 2010), with Miley Cyrus, Rihanna, Lindsay Lohan, Katy Perry, Selena Gomez, Jennifer Aniston, Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift rounding out the top 10.

Jennifer Lopez, Britney Spears, Lady Gaga and Megan Fox were pushed off the list this year by Swift, Minaj, Gomez and Rihanna. Scandalous.

As for most searched term of the year, that honor goes not to the 2012 presidential election (which came in second), but to the iPhone 5. Also making the top five were Honey Boo Boo, the Olympics and Hurricane Sandy.

Good to see we have our priorities in order: Kim Kardashian, cell phones, sports, and chubby, precocious beauty queens. Maybe the Mayans were right after all.
