Kardashian-Weary Audiences Beware: Kris Jenner Wants Her Own Talk Show
Of all the terrible things to happen to daytime TV, like the end of soap operas and way too many hours of the ‘Today’ show, this one may be the worst: There’s a very distinct chance that Kris Jenner may soon have her own daytime talk show.
Please step away from the ledge.
We admit she’s got the skill set to spend an hour running her mouth — after all, this woman isn’t quiet about anything. In fact, for a few moments last month, she was the only person in America speaking at all. But that doesn’t mean we need to hear her voice on more channels than we already do.
Alas, there’s someone out there who disagrees. According to Deadline, Jenner is deep in talks to do some test runs on Fox TV stations next summer.
Of course it’s Fox. Because they do nothing if not jump rope with our last nerve.
No word on a premiere date, but after suffering through watching Jenner guest host ‘The Talk’ a few times and enduring her appearances on ‘America’s Next Top Model’ and ‘RuPaul’s Drag U,’ we know exactly which show we’ll schedule our TiVos to blatantly ignore.
