Lady Gaga got fans all riled up last August when she announced her new album, 'ARTPOP,' but the singer's little monsters may have to wait a little longer for the arrival of the LP.

According to MTV News, producer and EDM star Zedd (who is also one of our Artists to Watch and behind the dark remix of Gaga's 'Marry the Night'), says Gaga's third studio album is still a work in progress. "We've been working on it for over a year now," he said. "There's still a lot of work left, so we're definitely gonna work on this project for the next month."

"The problem with her is obviously that I'm busy and I tour a lot, but she's probably a lot busier than I am, so it's hard to find time to work on something together," he explained. Gaga just kicked off the North American leg of her Born This Way Ball tour, which will have the singer on the road through March 20.

So far, Zedd says he has worked on 10 songs for the pop star, and that the duo had time to flesh out ideas for a few of them while on tour together in Asia. However, nothing is final yet. "...They're still all really rough," Zedd adds. "It could be five, it could be 10, it could be anything we want."

Little monsters.. sounds like you'll just have to be patient for a bit longer!
