Jay Pharoah could barely make it through the 'Waking Up With Kimye' skit on 'SNL' last night (Nov. 16) without cracking a smile. We couldn't get through it without cackling, since he played Kanye West, who espoused Kim Kardashian's brilliance and status as a genius at every turn, to perfection. Host Lady Gaga also nerded out flawlessly in the sketch.

In the skit, Yeezy gave all the credit to Kimmy and her "genius," while revealing himself to be the puppet master behind his reality star marionette, turning her into an "intergalactic icon of creativity."

Pharoah absolutely nailed it as Yeezy, so much so that we're expecting hate tweets a la the rapper's battle with Jimmy Kimmel sometime today!

Gaga stumbled into the scene, playing Karen, a frumpy Apple Store employee who helps people with their Mac Books. She was brought on set thinking she is there to help Kim fix her laptop, which she dipped in caramel upon seeing the Apple logo. Again, beyond brill.

Yeezy hurled poor, black glasses-wearing Karen into the 'Kim Wore It Better' segment, comparing the white Givenchy number that Kim didn't want to wear, causing him to force her into it while sleeping, to Karen's Mac Store employee uniform. Karen pointed out that it's not fair to judge two different ensembles, and promptly said that she is not into fashion.

Oh, yes, Gaga went there! That was a true wink-wink, nudge-nudge moment.

She finished, "I think people who try too hard with their outfits are maybe hiding something," staring at the camera, giving an "I know" look at the camera. It was a totally awesome and self-aware moment since Gaga's outfits are getting more and more outrageous at every turn.

'Waking Up With Kimye' was easily one of the best skits of the entire season. Someone give Jay Pharoah an Emmy, stat. We don't think the real Kimye had a single laugh at the skit -- that "satellite Kardashians" line was hilarious -- but we sure did.
