Large Box Stores Can Not Open on Thanksgiving in Maine

Be assured you can let the Thanksgiving turkey digest, watch the Patriots game and maybe even get a bit of sleep as well. I know many people are perusing the "Black Friday" ads on-line right now. Many larger stores are advertising that they are opening on Thanksgiving with huge deals. A heads up for some and a reminder to others. Something that many people learned last year and you know who they are. The big stores can not open on Thanksgiving here in Maine. Check the small print and or call the stores you want to go to before heading out Thanksgiving. It's bad enough waiting an hour or two at 3am for the stores to open and even worse if you have to wait eight or nine hours and be only prepared for one.
