The NBA's best player is going to play the field...again. LeBron James has told the Miami Heat that he will kick in an option that allows him to be a free agent as of July 1st. He could still wind up back in Miami but James will check out other teams as well.

He was scheduled to make about $42-million-dollars over the final two years of this Miami deal.

In four years in South Beach, LeBron and company went to the NBA finals four times and won the championship twice.

Now the question is - will Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade opt out of their deals?

And a further question - will they agree to take less money to add more talent to the Miami roster?

Or, will another team look better to Lebron.

The NBA draft is coming in two days. Live coverage of the draft will be heard on Sports Radio 92.9 The Ticket. Thursday night coverage starts at 7pm.
