Liam Neeson is having to endure another family tragedy, as his 31-year-old nephew is now in critical condition after suffering head injuries from a fall.

London's Telegraph reports that Ronan Sexton, son of Neeson's sister Bernadette Sexton, was out with friends around 4AM Sunday morning in the Brighton, East Sussex, area when he climbed a telephone booth and fell almost 20 feet from the top. Sexton was taken to a nearby hospital before being transferred to Hurstwood Park Hospital in Haywards Heath, West Sussex.

Police are treating the incident as an accident and do not suspect foul play.

A spokesperson for the family said that Neeson had been in contact with his sister since the accident.

In 2009, Neeson lost his wife, Natasha Richardson, at the age of 45 after suffering head injuries from an accident while on a skiing lesson in Canada.

In an interview with PEOPLE in February, Neeson said of his late wife, "She and I were like [Fred] Astaire and [Ginger] Rogers. We had just this wonderful kind of dance, free dance on stage every night, you know?"
