The boy bands may have had their fun, but it's time for another British group sensation, a female group by the name of the Saturdays, to have their chance in the limelight.

The women in the Saturdays have already seen monster success in England -- 11 Top 10 single and three top albums -- and are now determined to conquer America. Ryan Seacrest, basically the industry's Wizard of Oz, shared a sneak peek of their song 'What About Us' on his radio show, and even announced that they'd be getting their own E! series, 'Chasing the Saturdays,' to give those of us stateside a proper introduction.

Mollie, Una, Rochelle, Vanessa, and Frankie relocated to Los Angeles in order to shoot their reality series, and each 30-minute episode (set to air Jan. 20, 2013), will follow the group from the moment they sign with Mercury/Island Def Jam Records to the hardcore promoting of their aforementioned single.

The women talked with us about what it was like sharing their single, which also features Sean Paul, with the U.S. for the first time. “We were so scared,” admits Frankie. They also described what the accompanying music video would be like for the single, calling it “laid back — it’s the five of us just having fun in L.A., and then we go over to a baseball field.”

“Next year is going to be a good year for us,” Rochelle admits. “We obviously can’t say too much about it but it’s going to be so exciting. We’ve got so much in the pipeline.”
