Mac Dickson’s Family Involved in Serious Car Accident

Today I received one of those phone calls you never want to get. My wife called to say her and my daughter were in a car accident. Actually, the first thing out of her mouth was, "We're okay, but...."

Life is so precious. With just a blink of an eye things can change so quick.

Another vehicle was driving in the opposite lane on the Lewiston Rd. (Rt. 121) in Poland. That vehicle came upon a truck that was stopped waiting to make a turn. They tried to go around it, and they say they hit a patch of ice. Their vehicle started to spin out of control and hit our vehicle coming in the other direction. My wife was driving with her sister in the passenger seat. My daughter and her cousin were in the back seat.

On impact, our vehicle flipped, and slid over a hundred yards on it's roof down the road. Needless, to say the car is totaled. Who knows what would have happened if they weren't all buckled up!

Somehow, all involved escaped without any major injuries. That's all that really matters.
