Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm has been around for a decade in beautiful Unity, Maine. With a group of friends and volunteers, they built their own 30' x 50' barn and have since added two additional small barns and their store, Fibers of Unity.

In August, 2006, they purchased their first three alpacas...and the rest, as they say, is history. Currently, they are home to over 30 healthy alpacas, including numerous adorable cria, baby alpacas.

Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm operates in a socially and environmentally friendly manner. The well-being of the animals is their priority. They are particularly conscious of bio-security measures and take all precautions to safeguard the alpacas.

They are a very respected alpaca breeder and offering a full service farm, including boarding, breeding, alpaca sales, a retail gift gallery, owner/breeder mentoring and more. They also own show-quality champion alpacas, breeding and fiber quality alpacas.

See Northern Solstice Alpaca Farm, Saturday August 12 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the 'Made in Maine Expo' at the Colby College Field House.
