If Bath Fitter worked on your plumbing, you can have an inspection done on their work for free if you submit a request by September 1, 2015.

According to Attorney General Janet Mills, Bath Fitter allegedly misrepresented employees’ licensing statuses, did plumbing that was unlicensed and was in violation of the Maine State Internal Plumbing Code.

A free inspection will be provided by Bath Fitter to any homeowner where Bath Fitter did a plumbing installation. The inspection will be done by an independent licensed plumber and they will determine if the work is up to code. If the work doesn’t comply, the job will be fixed at no cost to the consumer.
