Maine Gas Prices Inch Higher This Week

In Presidential elections, the old saying was 'as Maine goes, so goes the nation', that's not the case this week when it comes to gas prices. Gas prices in Maine went up just under one cent per gallon this week for a statewide average of $2.10. Nationally, gas prices were down a little over one cent per gallon for an average of $2.04 per gallon.

You can still find gas selling for less than $2 per gallon in Maine, the lowest reported gas price in Maine came in from New Gloucester at $1.94 per gallon.
