The Maine Governor's Energy Office says heating prices have climbed slightly in the last two weeks.

The office says the average price for heating oil rose 2 cents over the past week to $2.04 per gallon. Kerosene prices also rose 2 cents to $2.56 and propane prices climbed 2 cents to $2.31 per gallon.

The Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries says it plans to implement a production cut. The energy office says it's unclear whether that will make a different for the price of heating fuel for Maine residents.

Northern Maine had a higher average at $2.20 per gallon for heating oil. The highest heating oil price in the state was $2.35 per gallon.
