If you love maple this weekend is for you! The Maine Maple Producers Association invite you to join Maine's maple syrup producers as they celebrate 'Maine Maple Sunday.'

Most sugarhouses this Sunday (March 23) will be offering free maple syrup samples and demonstrations, including how pure Maine maple syrup is made. However, this cold winter could cause some problems. A few central Maine maple syrup producers say they are concerned that the frigid temperatures this month have left their taps dry and decreased their chances of having fresh syrup for the public. Many farms will be also offering games, activities, treats, sugarbush tours, music, and much more.

Maine Maple Sunday is always the fourth Sunday in March although some sugarhouses are making it a full weekend of fun by offering events for both Saturday and Sunday.
