This has got to be devastating news for Patriots' backup QB Jimmy Garoppolo, but cause for celebration throughout Maine and the rest of New England. Tom Brady has signed an extension to keep him in a Pats uniform until 2019, which means he'll be playing until he's 42 years old.

According to the Boston Globe, the deal is a 2-year extension, and will likely give the Pats some salary cap relief. He was scheduled to make $9 million in 2016 and $10 million in 2017. No financial details were released.
