Now that winter is back here in Maine, we've all participated in the annual ritual of digging out the ice scraper from the back seat somewhere, and tripping over ourselves trying to scrape the windows just to get going in the morning.

Meteorologists at WATE-TV posted this video that shows how to combine water and isopropyl rubbing alcohol into a solution that will never freeze, so you can even keep it in the car! It's not hot water, so it won't damage your windshield in the cold air. It's just a simple solution that you can use to instantly defrost the ice from your car.
