Maine’s State Parks + Historic Sites Open for Father’s Day with FREE Admission
Most of Maine’s state parks and historic sites will be open for free admission on Sunday (June 15, 2014) in honor of Father’s Day!
Your Maine license plate will be your ticket for the free admission to 48 state-owned and operated locations. The free admission is 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on June 15. Now, make sure you notice, the free admission does not apply to Baxter State Park, Scarborough Beach State Park, or the Penobscot Narrows Observatory.
Maine has some GREAT parks and sites, check out the whole list state parks. Personally, my favorite is Wolfes Neck State Park in Freeport.
