An 18-year-old man was accused of raping a 17-year-old female at Keith Urban's Mansfield, Mass., concert on July 26.

The Boston Globe reports that Sean Murphy was allegedly seen on top of the victim in the lawn section of the venue. Bystanders reportedly took photos and videos with their phones and, according to the Mansfield Police Department's Facebook page, the files could be used for evidence. When a concertgoer reportedly pushed Murphy off the girl, he disappeared into the crowd.

“Thanks to concerned patrons, the female victim was removed from the area and they assisted her in getting her help and reuniting her with her friends,” Mansfield police said (quote via the Boston Globe).

Police also confirmed that Murphy has been charged with one count of rape.

“This was a consensual act, not a sexual assault. There are no allegations of force or violence put against him," Neil P. Crowley, Murphy's lawyer, claimed in a statement on Tuesday (via the Boston Globe). “This was a private act that regrettably occurred in a public place. Mr. Murphy deeply regrets this incident and I’m sure the young woman does as well.”

No further information about the alleged victim has been released.

The Saturday night concert previously made headlines when approximately 46 people were treated for alcohol-related issues, with more than 22 concertgoers hospitalized.
