We're still reeling from the announcement that Marvel and Netflix will bring together four separate TV series for 'Daredevil,' 'Jessica Jones,' 'Iron Fist' and 'Luke Cage,' before placing the foursome together in a 'Defenders' miniseries event, but new details have emerged to have fans drooling: 'LOST' executive producer and 'The Cabin in the Woods' helmer Drew Goddard has reportedly signed on to write the 'Daredevil' series for 2015!

The Wrap first reported news of Goddard's ongoing negotiations to write the 'Daredevil' series, though representation for Goddard, Marvel and Netflix wouldn't offer comment on the news. Goddard himself has previously been attached to the 'Daredevil' character, both of his self-expressed interest in writing for "the man without fear," and for fan interest in giving Goddard a shot at the Marvel hero.

Goddard directed 'The Cabin in the Woods' from a script he wrote with 'The Avengers' director Joss Whedon, and wrote for both 'Buffy' and 'Angel' in the past. It remains to be seen if Goddard would have any involvement in the subsequent Marvel Netflix series, or potentially 'The Defenders' thereafter.

Well, what say you? Does the 'Daredevil' TV series sound like it's in good hands with Drew Goddard writing? Who would you like to see bring the blind Hell's Kitchen hero to life when Marvel relaunches its newest hero in 2015?
