Matt’s Son Evan Is A New Big Brother

For those who may be wondering, no, Keri and I did not have a baby! However, Evan's mom, Carrie and her boyfriend Ben DID! I got the privilege of bringing Evan into the maternity ward yesterday afternoon to meet his new baby brother. From the moment we walked in Evan couldn't take his eyes off of him, and as you can see by the photos, neither could Jackson.

I post this today for two reasons; 1- Who doesn't love totes adorb baby pics? Yeah, I said totes adorbs. And 2- I see so many people who use social media as a place where they bash their exes and are constantly demeaning and disrespecting them. Maybe I can be a small beacon of hope for those people out there who struggle with co-parenting.

It doesn't have to be as hard as you think. My girlfriend, Keri and I, along with Evan, were greeted with hugs and smiles yesterday as we went in to meet Evan's new next of kin! Life is what you make it, and so are the relationships within that life. Be kind, be patient and love without bounds. Evan sure does, and he's an example for all of us.
