May 2nd is ‘Brothers and Sisters Day’

Today May 2nd along with ‘International Tuba Day’ and ‘Space Day’ it’s ‘Brothers and Sisters Day’.

Do you have siblings? Are you an only child?

I have one sister who I don’t see very often as we live on different continents but when we do it’s great to catch up.

We didn’t have the same friends growing up. Most of my friends were metal heads and her friends were mostly artsy types.

She works in a classroom teaching elementary school kids so she has a month off in the summer where sometimes she’ll come to Canada to visit her friends and Mom and then her and Mom come to Maine and stay with us for a few days.

I’ll see her in late July and early August and it should be a fun time.
