"Keep the Wheels Rollin'," is what the show's called. We're talking about the wheels that deliver meals to shut-ins all over central Maine. These are people who look forward to, not just the meal, but also, the company. Honestly, with government cutbacks, too many are on a waiting list.

Spectrum Generations, who implements the local program, has been creative in raising funds and you, just by participating, are a big help and, really, a philanthropist.

On Sunday, October 6th at 2, there will be a family show at Hallowell City Hall. Featured will be music by The Swingtime Band, David McGinnis, Annie Neeson Voorhees and Stefanie Barley.

Magicians will include Professor Foggybottom (with Irving, the rabbit), Conjuring Carroll, The Amazing Wes, The Famous Unknown Magician and Mr. Magic.

Tickets are only $5 for kids under 12, $10 for adults and a maximum of $25 for a family. You can pick them up at Apple Valley Books in Winthrop, Lisa's Restaurant, Pat's Pizza and Bagelmania, all in Augusta and the Cohen Community Center in Hallowell. You can also call, 626-7777.
