The Messalonskee Robotics team has qualified once again for the world championships in St. Louis, Missouri. They became the District Championships after they won the Regional Chairman's Award. This Award is what qualified them to attend the World Championship. The team will be leaving for the World Championships in St. Louis, Missouri tomorrow morning (April 22, 2014). Once in St. Louis, there will be 30 teams from New England attending the championships, and 400 teams over all. Messalonskee will have around 10 qualification matches!

The Messalonskee Robotics team will also be submitting for the Championship Chairman's Award at the event. This award requires a long 10,000 character essay, several short essays, a presentation, and a video. If the Messalonskee Robotics team were to win they would get into the hall of fame and receive a lifelong invitation back to the world championship.

Good luck to the Messalonskee Robotics team! Oh and say to hello to my old home town of St. Louis, it is a great place to visit, I hope you have a change to enjoy the city!
