Like Justin Bieber and One Direction, namely Harry Styles, Miley Cyrus is adding to her tattoo collection. The singer/actress, fresh off announcing her new record deal with RCA, added two crossed arrows just above her elbow, inked by celeb tattoo artist and Deadmau5's fiancee Kat Von D.

Cyrus shared the photo on Twitter.

The tattoo is in a painful place. Anywhere near the elbow usually hurts since it's so bony. But Cyrus, who is embracing her rebellious punk rock image ever since hacking off her hair, seems to be reveling in doing things her way and she doesn't care if it stings a little.

Below is a bigger close-up of the simple but meaningful tattoo, which has a Native American origin. In our research, aka Googling, crossed arrows are a Native American symbol of friendship.

We wonder if one of Miley's friends is wearing the same symbol on their person. Maybe her fiancé Liam Hemsworth got the same ink, since the best marriages are based on solid, strong friendship.

PopCrushers, what do you think of Miley's latest tattoo? That one'll be hard to cover when she's wearing a dress.

Oh, and you can watch a clip of the newly-tattooed diva in the direct-to-DVD detective flick 'So Undercover' where Miley plays a detective who goes undercover at a college campus.
