Mother of Missing Waterville Toddler, Ayla Reynolds, to Reveal New Evidence

Trista Reynolds, the mother of missing toddler Ayla Reynolds, says next month that she will release evidence she says the Maine State Police gave her.

Trista Reynolds, on Sept. 24, will post the evidence through two of her websites and then hold a press conference in Portland’s Lincoln Park the next day.

She says she received the material from state police on Jan. 3. and hopes the evidence will be enough to prosecute Ayla's father, Justin DiPietro.

The Maine State Police say they have no involvement with the announcement and would not reveal what evidence was given to Trista Reynolds on Jan. 3.

The 20 month old was reported missing in Dec. 2011, by her father. Police believe DiPietro and others, who were staying at the Waterville home, know more about the case than they are telling.
