Mother Told to “Be More Discreet” While Breastfeeding at a Lewiston Restaurant
Stephanie Parise was told to "be more discreet" when breastfeeding her child at Fusion restaurant in Lewiston over the weekend.
Now she, along with other mothers planned a "Nurse-In" for today at noon.
When Parise was feeding her baby at the table, someone at the restaurant told her to "be more discreet." She left the restaurant feeling humiliated and turned to Facebook.
Parise started a Facebook event and as of when the story was posted, more than 12 mothers joined. The "Nurse-in" was planned for today.
No representative from the restaurant has commented publicly on the story.
