‘Mr. Peabody + Sherman’ Trailer – What’s the Song?

'Mr. Peabody & Sherman,' a 3D, animated comedy, will hit the multiplex on March 7.

Mr. Peabody is a "valedogtorian" who pioneered alternative energy sources, invented the fist bump and the backside Ollie skateboard move, among other things. He sounds like the dude in those 'Most Interesting Man in the World' commercials. There's a cool song that plays underneath the animated action in the film's trailer. What is it?

The song is 'Pompeii,' by British alt rockers Bastille. The song appears on their 2013 debut 'Bad Blood.' The band is buzzing hardcore right now and has been making quite a splash for the past year. They will make their 'SNL' debut on Jan. 25, the same ep that Jonah Hill hosts.

We're surprised that Mr. Peabody, the most amazing dog in history, didn't write, record and play every instrument on the song. Just sayin'.

He really is an extraordinary dog who has created the Wayback, a time travel machine. Therein lies the crux of the film's action. Woof woof.
