Police doing a bail check on Bridge Street in Augusta on Wednesday found 17 grams of heroin and 12 grams of cocaine in the residence. Three men were arrested; one of them who turned out to be wanted for murder in Ohio.

According to WABI, detectives went to the Bridge Street residence of 43 year old Larry Murphy for a prior Aggravated Trafficking in Drugs charge that stemmed from a November 23rd, 2016 arrest. Once they were in the home, the officers found 22-year old Trevon Orman and 18-year old Matthew Mason, both from Sandusky, Ohio. Mason was wanted for murder. He’s charged with being a Fugitive from Justice out of the Lorain Police Department in Ohio. No other information on that charge was available, according to Augusta police.

“Once again our department received information from the public with the suspicion of illegal drug activity on Bridge Street,” according to a press release from the Augusta Police Department. “The message is clear; the great citizens of Augusta will not tolerate people selling drugs in our community. They will call us when it is happening and sooner or later you will get arrested.”
