Hello!! I am glad you’ve found me and am so happy you are here; I guess it was just meant to be!

My name is Iris Alexander, and I am a 19-year-old girl fom Augusta, Maine who has decided to take a job where I get to write about my personal outlook on understanding life. Just don’t actually ask me the meaning of life (I haven’t got there yet). I currently go to university in Antigonish, Nova Scotia where I study Business Administration and am working on the previously stated idea of understanding what I want to do with my life.

When I am not freaking out over my adult future or obsessively watching Tastemade videos, you can find me paddle boarding on Sheepscot Pond, drink sweet tea from Dunkin and adventuring around Maine.

The one key thing you should know about me is that my mother taught me to be honest when saying hello. Which is why I need to state unequivocally that I don't honestly know why I am writing a blog. I don’t really even know what sparked me to apply for this job. But the one thing I do know is that I wanted to write to understand the world I live in, to understand myself, and most importantly help others understand life through the eyes of a 19-year-old red headed girl with a lot of gumption and not a lot of money.
So welcome to the world how Iris sees it. I hope that maybe I can help you see it too.
