Navy Veteran Seeks Help In Locating Money Lost In Sanford

Tim Hercenberg, a veteran of the United States Navy, is looking for your help in locating his life savings,  $20,000 in cash, that recently went missing in Sanford.

Hercenberg, who moved to Maine only a few days ago, lost the money last week.

He had sold a piece of property in Pennsylvania, withdrew the money from the bank, placed it in a bank bag, and drove to Maine.  On Wednesday, he set the bag, which also contained his medication, on his windshield while he put his dog in his car.  He then drove away, discovering later that the bag was missing.

He did make a report to the Sanford Police Department.
