By March of next year, many of us will be thinking the same thing; enough winter!

While speaking yesterday, Maine's Governor Paul LePage offered some insight into his post Blaine House residence, and it won't be anywhere near the state's capital. According to WGME 13, LePage plans to live the snowbird life, spending half the year in Maine, and the other six months in the Sunshine State. "I am negotiating a job to teach, and teaching's going to be from September to April. And I'll be here from April through September,” LePage said. “I'm talking to a couple of universities and I'm not ready to tell you who yet."

Also, the two term Governor cited Maine's taxes as a motivator. The Washington Post reported LePage said “I’ll tell you very, very simply: I have a house in Florida. I will pay no income tax and the house in Florida’s property taxes are $2,000 less than we were paying in Boothbay.”

His successor will take oath in January 2019.
