Nicki Minaj‘s video for ‘The Boys,’ featuring Cassie, is a pink graphic novel come to life. Everyone, including the male dancers, is wearing the bubblegum hue, mixed with other pastels. It’s Nicki’s video and she’ll color code it however she pleases.
The action unfolds at a various locales, like a beauty shop, on the street and a polka-dotted room. There’s also the requisite destruction that’s part and parcel of comic books. And yes, Minaj wears an array of wigs.
There’s some homoerotic innuendo between the girls in ‘The Boys’ video, but it’s PG. Remember the photo that Nicki shared? That tone is present in the video.
