Well, it took two weeks, and a government agency to get it done, but Oakland's missing pig, which we have been calling OMP, has been caught. Oakland’s animal control officer and an expert from the U.S. Department of Agriculture tracked down and baited the pig. They then were able to corral it (Tuesday, July 29) today.

OMP had been bothering hikers on a trail near Messalonskee High School and had been spotted numerous times the past few weeks.
