Octomom Inappropriately Stoked About Her AVN Award Nominations

In case you've wiped it from your grey matter, we're here to remind you that Octomom, nee Nadya Suleman, has a solo sex tape.

And no, we don't bring it up solely to torture you. That little slice of hell is back in the news because it was just nominated for four Adult Video News Awards.

For those of you not in the know, the AVNs are the adult film industry's version of the Oscars. One night a year, everyone in the biz dresses up like naughty prom queens and gets together in Vegas to hand out awards in prestigious categories like Best Anal Sex Scene and Best Spanking Video and even Best Screenplay, as though porn movies have actual plots.

The ceremony later airs on Showtime, and if you've never seen it (and of course are over 18 -- the lawyers make us say that), we highly recommend it, if only for the hilarious acceptance speeches.

Anyway, back to Octomom. Her soft-core flick 'Octomom Home Alone' was nominated this year for Best Celebrity Sex Tape, Best Solo Release, Best DVD Extras, and Best Marketing Campaign. And she's going to the Jan. 19 awards extravaganza.

"I don't consider myself a celebrity, but I have never heard of the other people nominated," the infamous mother of 14 said. "So I'm pretty sure I have a good chance of winning."

If she doesn't emerge victorious, we're sure it's an honor just to be nominated alongside porn greats like Buster Hymen. (We might have totally made that one up.)
