Maria C. Waltherr-Willard, a longtime teacher in Ohio is suing her school district for allegedly discriminating against her because of her disability. What's her disability? She says she has a phobia of young children. Yes, you heard that correctly. Waltherr-Willard's lawsuit claims she experiences stress, anxiety, chest pains, vomiting, nightmares and higher than healthy blood pressure when she's around young children.

She had taught Spanish and French classes to high school students for 35 years before being reassigned to a middle school in 2009. The 61-year-old alleges that school officials made the move to force her exit because they were aware that she suffered from pedophobia, a deep-rooted fear of young kids.
