One Direction are great at giving back. The band performed on the BBC Children in Need telethon last night (Nov. 16), aiding the charity in raising money for disadvantaged children in their homeland of the U.K.

The band sat down for a chat before their performances, in which they revealed Louis Tomlinson is the bossiest and Zayn Malik is the laziest. (The latter doesn't surprise Directioners much -- he's said this himself more than once, and he loves to nap!)

1D performed their lead single from 'Take Me Home,' 'Live While We're Young,' as well as their second U.K. single, the acoustic, Ed Sheeran-penned ballad 'Little Things.' If the backdrop on the television screens during 'Live While We're Young' looks familiar, it should -- it's the same patterns and icons used when the group performed on the U.S. 'X Factor!'

The telethon raised roughly $42 million for underprivileged kids, and featured performances not just from 1D, but also from Little Mix, which hosts Zayn Malik's girlfriend, Perrie Edwards.
