One Direction nabbed three trophies and delivered some stellar performances at the BBC Radio 1 Teen Awards today (Oct. 7).

The band nabbed awards for Best Single, Best Album and Best Music Act, effectively confirming their stance as the biggest boy band in Britain -- if not on the entire planet. The audience, many of whom were clad in One Direction gear, went absolutely bonkers for the boys when they took the stage to accept their accolades.

Struggling to be heard over the screaming fans, Louis Tomlinson told the audience, "You guys, this is absolutely incredible. You are absolutely spoiling us -- three awards! We've had the best afternoon, so thank you for having us here!"

Niall Horan added, "Teen Awards, as Louis just said, thank you so much for having us this afternoon! We're going home with three Teen Awards, and we can't believe it!" The beaming smile on his face showed just how stoked the guys really were to be there. "Thank you so much again, and a massive thank you to Radio 1 for having us!" They held up their trophies in triumph before exiting the stage -- but only briefly.

One Direction returned to the stage to perform four tracks. They sang the Ed Sheeran-penned ballad 'Moments,' 'Up All Night,' 'What Makes You Beautiful' and their recordbreaking current single from 'Take Me Home,' 'Live While We're Young.' And, as expected, the audience absolutely ate it up!
