According to the Sun Journal, a 20-year-old man from Orono is facing charges of murder in connection with the death of Nichole Cable, 15, whose body was discovered in the woods near Old Town on Monday.

Published reports say Kyle Dube is in custody at the Penobscot County Jail. He has been in jail since May 17, since he turned himself in to begin serving a 90-day sentence for an unrelated criminal speeding conviction. He is scheduled to appear in court May 22.
