The Oscars are fast approaching (because that's how time works) and ABC wants to remind you to watch the event, which will helpfully be held on "Oscar Sunday."

The day has thus been christened to help with pesky questions like, "Wait, when are the Oscars again?" To which you can now reply, "On Oscar Sunday, you dolt."

The first poster features host and 'Family Guy' creator Seth MacFarlane holding absolutely nothing except a magical CGI-drawn see-through trophy.

For much better advertising, we highly recommend the filmed promos which at least try to appeal to an audience not between the ages of 80 and dead.

MacFarlane is pulling double-duty this year as host and nominee, having snagged a nomination for Best Original Song for 'Everyone Needs a Best Friend' from his film 'Ted.'

The Oscar telecast will air live on Feb. 24 at 7:00 p.m. EST on ABC. And if you forget the date, just remember it's on Oscar Sunday, doy.
