Tabytha Hembree was honored by over one thousand people during a candlelight vigil held on the Gardiner Area High School soccer field on Friday evening.

Tabytha, a junior at GAHS, passed away Friday morning as the result of a Thursday morning car accident.

According to the KJ, vigil attendees included classmates, teachers and school officials..GAHS Principal Chad Kempton called Tabytha “a well-rounded, positive young lady, and she was the whole package.”

In addition to being a soccer player, Tabytha was also a swimmer, trained at CrossFit Undaunted, was a musician and was active in the drama club.
