Protection From Abuse Order is Now More than Just a Piece of Paper [AUDIO]

A Protection from Abuse Order is just a piece of paper. Well, when it comes down to stopping further abuse by someone hellbent on causing injury, that is a truism. But now, that piece of paper has grown some teeth.

NOTHING sets me off like hearing about a "guy" (I refuse to use the word "man," because he's not) who uses physical force or a weapon to injure or kill a woman and/or child(ren).

Although the latest device being utilized now by Somerset County can't prevent someone abusing the first time, it CAN and WILL give police a heads up if they try to get to a woman's house and do it again. THIS is a great and potentially lifesaving use of technology. Listen to our discussion this morning!
