You try to be on top of what your kids are doing online. Most parents have certain rules when it comes to their teen's internet use. Fox example, laptops and iPads have to be used in common areas, or you put filters up, etc. but, is that enough? There is internet slang that goes far beyond, LMAO, BTW or BRB. I think trust is a major factor in growth, so I think you have to give kids a little privacy, but some teens may be using internet slang with meanings you may not be aware of. Do you know what "IWSN" means? Or how about GNOC?
