Peace Out, Fishy Fishy: Beached Shark Dies on the Shores of Lubec

A sad day on the shores of Lubec. A 24 foot shark (or as the guy in the video says, "shahhhk") beached itself and, eventually, lost it's life from being...well...on the beach. Sharks don't belong there.

Locals tried in vain to keep it alive by pouring water over it. A boat from the New England Aquarium even brought a boat in to try and tow it into the water, but it was already too late by then.

The shark was discovered at about 7:30 Wednesday morning by the captain of a local charter service.

The carcass was secured and a necropsy will be performed.
