How Cool is This? Phil Collins Comes Out of Retirement to Play in Sons’ Middle School Band

Rock and roll Hall of Famer Phil Collins has 2 sons who attend the private Miami Country Day School. They recently had their spring concert, just like schools all over the country. The difference, is their show featured a legend coming out of retirement who hasn’t performed in public since 2010. “Thanks for stealing the spotlight, Dad!”

The former Genesis drummer and singer admitted he was a bit nervous as he successfully led the student band through his solo hit ‘In the Air Tonight’ and the Genesis favorite ‘Land of Confusion.’
