This weekend, the fearless, athletic ball of awesome known as Pink showed us once again why she's worthy of slavish devotion: She didn't just brush some dirt off her shoulder, she brushed off a few bigots, too.

During the Sydney, Australia stop on her Truth About Love Tour, a fan handed the Grammy-winning singer -- a longtime and very vocal supporter of the gay community -- a big rainbow flag, prompting her to wave it around proudly (it was a pride flag, after all) and then drape it around her neck.

Cue every homophobic idiot on Twitter calling her nasty names, including "lesbian." Because creativity.

In other words, if that's all you've got, don't waste her time. But that won't surprise anyone who knows anything about her.

"I identify with people that struggle and I respect people that have to fight for their right to be respected," she said in an interview last year. "Some of the greatest people I've met in my life happen to be gay people and I find that very hard to ignore, [so] I find it very hard to be around racist or homophobic people."

And that, kids, is the truth about love.
