Police Looking for Four Suspects in Winthrop Home Invasion

Winthrop police say four masked men barged their way into an elderly woman's apartment last weekend. The men knocked on the her door just after midnight on Sunday. When the 71 year old answered, the men forced their way in. They left after the woman gave them money from her purse. Police suspect the burglars were looking for prescription drugs. The victim was not hurt.

Police Chief Joseph Young described the men as wearing dark clothing and masks. Two were armed with guns. He told WMTW that he was "confident" police will make arrests in the case.
