UPDATE-3PM-Police said they have arrested Anthony Lord, who has been identified as a suspect in shootings around the town of Lee in Houlton.The Maine State Police have identified the suspect in the shootings around the town of Lee.

According to Steve McCausland of the Maine Public Safety Department, the suspect is Anthony Lord, 35, of Crystal and Houlton, According to McCausland, Lord is 5-foot, 9-inches tall, weighs 263 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes.

McCausland said Lord is a registered sex offender. Troopers also think Lord has a stolen a pulp truck and are asking the public for help in locating either Lord or the truck. The pulp truck is a 2010 maroon Peterbilt with green lettering on the side saying “McCarthy”. McCausland said the truck has Maine commercial plate 631745 and has an orange-colored pulp boom.

Anyone with info on Lord or the location of the truck is asked to call State Police in Bangor at 973-3700. Lord is considered armed and dangerous.

Police are conducting a manhunt for a shooting suspect in the Penobscot County town of Lee and traffic on Route 6 has been stopped. According to the Maine State Police, the shutdown comes after four people were shot overnight in incidents in Lee, Benedicta and Silver Ridge last. Police say they are trying to locate the gunman in the town of Lee and the search is concentrated in that area.
