The Bangor Daily News is reporting that a number of law enforcement personnel are searching a wooded area in Oakland this morning in an effort to find missing Waterville toddler Ayla Reynolds.

According to the published report, a spokesman for the Maine Department of Public Safety said that more than 30 officers from the Waterville Police, the Maine State Police, the Maine Wardens Service, along with divers and canine teams have converged on the area off Hussey Hill Road in an effort to find the missing 20-month-old, who was last seen in December 2011.

A press conference has been scheduled for 3 p.m. today, we will have updates as they become available.
