Power Outage On Kennedy Memorial Drive In Oakland/Waterville

UPDATE - 11:15AM- RSU 18, serving Belgrade, China, Oakland, Rome and Sidney will be closing at 11:30AM today.

There is a widespread power outage currently impacting Kennedy Memorial Drive in Oakland and Waterville (Nov. 17).

According to information on Central Maine Power's website, the outage is in the the Kennedy Memorial Drive area of Oakland and Waterville. According to CMP, Oakland is the harder-hit town with 2,255 of the town's 3,602 CMP customers are without power.

No reason was listed for the outage.

The information on CMP's website said that the company estimates that power will be restored at approximately 12:30PM on today (Nov. 17).
